A QUADBIKE worth thousands of pounds has been stolen from a Pwllheli farm.

The theft took place on 1 May whilst the Nefyn Show was taking place.

The blue Yamaha 450cc quad bike was stolen from Llangybi and is believed to have travelled along the B4417 from Llanaelhaearn towards Nefyn between 3.30pm and 5.30pm early last week.

PC 2470 Barbara Roberts said: “This location would have been very busy on that day due to the Nefyn show taking place.

“Several people will have seen the quad bike travelling along the road and we are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area between the mentioned times and who saw this vehicle to contact us.”

Anyone who saw the quad bike is asked to call PC 2470 Roberts at Porthmadog Police Station on 101 quoting reference RC17062039.
