A Borth woman has been handed a conditional discharge for assaulting a police officer.
Catherine Tilby, of Flat 1, 2 Cambrian Terrace, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 31 January.
The 36-year-old pleaded guilty to assaulting Pc Thomas in Aberystwyth on 3 October last year.
Magistrates handed Tilby a 12 month conditional discharge.
She must also pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 as well as a surcharge to fund victim services of £26.
