A Cardigan man has been banned from the road for 14 months after admitting drink driving.

Peter Johnson, of 12 Brecon Terrace, St Dogmaels Road, appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates on 28 May.

The 42-year-old had initially denied drink driving on a road outside Treboeth Farm in Newport, Pembrokeshire on 2 September, but changed his plea to guilty ahead of trial.

Johnson was disqualified from driving for 14 months and fined £200.

He must pay costs of £85 and an £80 surcharge.
