A Cardigan man has been found not guilty of assault following a trial.
Cieran Harries, of 28 Ridgeway, appeared for trial at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 2 May.
The 20-year-old had pleaded not guilty at an earlier hearing in February to a charge of the assault by beating of Steffan Phillips in Cardigan on 29 December last year.
Harries was found not guilty of the offence by magistrates following the trial hearing date where no evidence was offered.
