A Cilgerran man has been fined by magistrates after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine.

Carl Rago, of Penffynnon, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 16 April.

The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to possession of 1.1g of cocaine at his home address on 19 February.

Magistrates handed Rago a fine of £120.

He must also pay prosecution costs of £85.

Magistrates also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
