A Cilgerran man has been fined by magistrates after clocking almost 70mph on the Cardigan bypass.

Llanelli magistrates heard on 17 March that Bradley Shane Bedwell, of 29 Heol Ty Newydd, was clocked by police laser travelling at 69mph on the 40mph limit A487 Cae Morgan Junction in a Volkswagen Jetta on 5 October last year.

Magistrates fined the 27-year-old £120 and handed him six penalty points.

He must also pay costs of £90 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £48.
