A LLWYNGWRIL man is set to stand trial later this year after denying two assaults in Aberystwyth.

Thomas Wilkes, of 28 Godre’r Gaer Estate, had denied assaulting Bradley Jones and Lucke Davies in Aberystwyth on 3 April last year at an earlier hearing and appeared again before Aberystwyth magistrates on 11 January.

Magistrates set a trial date for 9 March and Wilkes, 20, was remanded on unconditional bail until that date.
