A MAN living in a village near Aberystwyth was arrested after he was caught in possession of cocaine, MDMA and cannabis, magistrates have heard.
Denny Harry Zak Thompson, of Felinfawr, Aberffrwd, admitted possession of the drugs which were found when police executed a search warrant.
Kevin Challinor, prosecuting, said that officers searched the property in Aberystwyth on 20 June.
Thompson, 24, made no comment during a police interview, but Mr Challinor said that forensic tests identified the drugs as cocaine, MDMA and cannabis.
He told magistrates that the total estimated street value of the drugs was almost £300.
Defence solicitor Katy Hanson said that Thompson admitted possession of the drugs, but said that since his arrest in June he has been receiving drug counselling.
She said that was helping Thompson who had stopped using drugs and that he was looking to make changes in his life which he was now doing.
Thompson was fined a total of £300, but will also have to pay costs £105.
