A mobile hairdresser and “recreational” user of cocaine who failed to consider that the drug would be in her system when she drove has lost her driving licence for 18 months.
Kim Collins, a 36-year-old mum, of Osmond Terrace, Porthmadog, was banned from driving for 18 months, received an eight-week overnight curfew, ordered to complete a rehabilitation course and was told to pay £170 costs after she pleaded guilty at Llandudno court to drug-driving in a Vauxhall car on the A470 at Betws y Coed in March and having no insurance.
Defence solicitor Michael Strain said Collins had been to a party days earlier and had taken cocaine.
He added that she had been in a difficult period in her life.
