A teenager has denied causing the death of a "bright and vibrant" 18-year-old in a crash near Comins Coch last year.
Lena Faye Evans, 19, of The Caravan, Holly Bush, Betws Bledrws, Lampeter, appeared in Swansea Crown Court this week to deny a charge of causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Ellie Bryan, 18, died in a crash on the A487 at Comins Coch near Aberystwyth in November last year.
Tributes poured in after the death of Ellie, who was described as a "bright, vibrant" former member of Aberystwyth Sea Cadets.
Evans has been released on unconditional bail until her trial on 27 April.
Dylan Benjamin, who was driving the car in front of Ms Evans’, has previously pleaded guilty at Swansea Crown Court to causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Evans had applied for the charges to be dropped but this was dismissed by the judge.
