A TREGARON man has been fined by magistrates for not wearing a seatbelt.

Huw James Vaughan, of Brynglas, Dewi Road, was stopped by police on the B4353 at Borth on 18 June when he was seen not wearing a seatbelt while driving an Audi A6, Llanelli magistrates heard on 10 January.

The 27-year-old was fined £220.

He must also pay prosecution costs of £90 as well as a surcharge of £88.
