A TYWYN man has been given a conditional discharge after being caught in possession of drugs in Aberystwyth.

Tomos Evans, of Fferm Tyn y Gornel, Happy Valley, pleaded guilty to possession of 0.34g of herbal cannabis in Aberystwyth on 22 January this year when he appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates last week.

The 36-year-old was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay £85 costs.
