AN Aberarth man has been handed 80 hours of unpaid work after admitting a charge of using threatening behaviour.

Barry Phillips, of Isfryn, Aberarth Village, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court last week.

The 48-year-old pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive behaviour towards Sarah Evans in Aberarth on 2 June this year.

Magistrates handed Evans a community order to include 80 hours of unpaid work.

He must also pay £85 costs.
