POLICE are looking for witnesses after a break-in saw one offender ‘leave blood at the scene’.
The Welsh Highland Railway ticket office was broken into sometime between 6.30pm on Wednesday, 8 August and 8am on 9 August.
Railway bosses don’t believe anything has been stolen but a tremendous mess was made in their Caernarfon office on St Helens Road.
There were several items broken or damaged by the intruders.
A police spokesperson said: “It is unclear if anything has been stolen, but the burglars made an untidy search causing damage to various items including the back door.
“It is believed the offenders may have been on the premises at around 1.30am.
“A window in a nearby harbour building was also smashed, but no entry was gained and blood was left at scene by an offender.
