THE West End has come to Tywyn in the form of a dance extravaganza.
Stars from stages across London were treading the boards at Neuadd Pendre, helping to raise hundreds of pounds for Ty Gobaith, a hospice for sick children.
The Cabaret and Dance night, held every year, was once again hailed as a success and raised in excess of £1,400.
Cathy Evans, chair of Tywyn Friend’s Group, said: “This year we were not only entertained by artists from London, but also by a wide variety of local talent.
“It was amazing to see so many people, both young and not so young, come together to support such a worthwhile charity and I’d like to thank everyone involved for their contribution.
“It takes a great deal of effort and co-ordination to plan such an event, and a big thank you to you all for your support both before and during the evening.”
