Two return rail tickets to anywhere on the Transport for Wales network – worth up to £118 - are today’s prize.
Transport for Wales is on a journey to deliver a revitalised rail network that will see new trains, additional and new services, innovative solutions as well as a massive programme of station investment.
Transport for Wales is much more than helping people get from A to B – it’s about connecting people and communities – enabling sustainable development and helping to give people new opportunities for prosperity.
As part of the plans the new December 2019 timetable will see the introduction of more Sunday services which will deliver an economic boost throughout the country and providing essential links between cities, towns and villages.
The Cambrian coast will see a huge benefit from these changes with an enhanced Cambrian line service being introduced between Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury, increasing from 16 services to 21 services a day.
Currently Transport for Wales only run one Sunday service per day between Pwllheli and Machynlleth but from 15 December this will be increasing to five in each direction, giving people more travel options than ever before.
Customer experience director for Transport for Wales Rail Services, Colin Lea, said: “We’ve committed to giving customers the service they deserve on a Sunday and are delighted to be able to make these improvements. Providing greater leisure and economic benefits to the area."
To mark these timetable improvements they are offering a pair of return tickets to anywhere on the TFW network, with so many key destinations to choose from including services to Birmingham, Cardiff and south Wales, up to north Wales via Chester and to Manchester Piccadilly. The tickets are only valid on Transport for Wales services.
This competition is now closed, but we'll have a new giveaway every day until Friday, 20 December.
