A couple from Cemmaes are appealing for help to find their beloved dog who has been missing since Friday.

Annie and Roy Craggs’ dog Charlie, a tri-colour 14-year-old Border Collie who recently lost an eye, went missing at lunchtime on Friday whilst out walking above Dyfi Bike Park near Pantperthog Mine.

Annie and Roy have been searching for Charlie ever since but their beloved pet has not been found.

“We’re desperate to find him,” Annie said.

“We’d appreciate any help.

“We’re at a loss about what to do and we haven’t really slept.”

Charlie is wearing a collar with an ID tag.

He is microchipped and neutered.

Abderdyfi Search and Rescue members, with the help of David Stubbs from the British International Rescue and Search Dogs, have been looking for Charlie, and Missing Dogs Team Wales have experienced search and rescue members, Anthony Bailey and Jamie Tyrell, on the ground searching with thermal drones and other equipment.

A Facebook group – Find Charlie – has been set up.

If you have any information about Charlie, please get in touch or message the Facebook page with an update.
