Whilst sympathising with everyone who has suffered and is suffering during the present pandemic, I was disappointed to read the letter ‘Will we be reimbursed?’ (Letters, 14 May).

Until Boris Johnson’s most recent edict, all of the UK was being told ‘Stay at home, stay safe, protect the NHS’. No-one at all should be travelling anywhere for a holiday. This pandemic is worldwide. So why does the writer pick on the Welsh Government? They, together with local councils, have been doing their level best to protect people and alleviate suffering. I’d like to thank them and also all of the volunteers who have been selflessly helping to keep things going, together with all the key workers.

Diolch yn fawr iawn i chi i gyd!
