It is being shared by Hugh Roberts from Barmouth who hopes readers will be able to put some names to the faces.

The picture was taken 70 years ago, as Mr Roberts explained.

“This picture is of Barmouth Primary School in 1947,” he said.

“It was taken 70 years ago this Christmas and I have no names other than the teacher, Amelia Edwards, from Blaenau Ffestiniog in the back row on the right.”

The picture comes from a collection of old images of Barmouth Hugh has collected over the years.
