A spokesperson for the club said: “One of our main objectives is to raise the profile of The Friends of Dysynni Dogs by seeking to develop, promote and deliver wider community-based initiatives with local groups, charities, the young, elderly and disabled in the surrounding local communities.

“We have invited all the residents of Bryncrug to attend our first open day on the field at Y Ganolfan to say a big thank you for welcoming us to your village.

“The group are very excited to be able to show their gratitude by holding a fun day for the community and their dogs.
