THE LAST concert of the 2015-16 season will be given by Galliarda in Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor at 7.30pm on Friday, 18 March. This distinctive early music ensemble comprises a wide variety of traditional instruments including lute, theorbo, five-course guitar, viola da gamba, recorder, Baroque flute and percussion, as well as the soprano voice. Their programme, entitled The Mediterranean Temperament, will evoke the warmth and passion of Spain, Italy and southern France with dances, folkloric song and ‘tonadillas’ from popular shows of the 18th century
