A PENRHYNDEUDRAETH-BORN woman has been celebrating her 100th birthday with her family.

Edna Hughes, formerly of 4 Dolfor Flats, South Beach, Pwllheli and now a resident at Plas Hafan, Nefyn, celebrated her birthday last week.

She is pictured with her daughter Susan Dop and son Nigel Hughes.

Mrs Hughes was born in Penrhyndeudraeth and lived at Abergafran farm, Minffordd, until after the war.
