Five Pembrokeshire schools, that were closed as a precaution following a surge of Covid-19 cases in Cardigan, are to reopen tomorrow.
Pembrokeshire Council took the decision to close six schools in the north of the county on Monday after Ceredigion Council closed six primary schools and a secondary school in the Cardigan area, as they shared services such as buses.
Ysgol Clydau, Ysgol Eglwyswrw, Ysgol Llandudoch, Ysgol y Frenni and Ysgol y Preseli will all fully reopen tomorrow, it has been confirmed this afternoon.
Ysgol Cilgerran will be partially open on Wednesday, 25 November, as two classes have been identified as contacts of positive cases.
Foundation Phase classes will reopen tomorrow.
Pembrokeshire school transport will return to normal, including college transport routes which revert back to normal starting points.
However, affected Ceredigion schools remain closed and the corresponding Pembrokeshire school transport will remain suspended for these schools.
Crymych Leisure Centre is also to reopen on Wednesday.
The doors to Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi, Ysgol Gynradd Aberteifi, Ysgol Gynradd Penparc, Ysgol Gynradd Aberporth, Ysgol Gynradd T Llew Jones, Ysgol Gynradd Llechryd and Ysgol Gynradd Cenarth were closed on Monday for two weeks and will reopen on Monday, 7 December.
