A PORTHMADOG woman has transformed an ‘eyesore’ building in the town into a nursery for the community.

Donna Ojemeyi from Porthmadog and her partner Gareth Edwards have spent the last three years converting the Old School building in Chapel Street into a thriving nursery and a home for their family.

The inside of the building has transformed into a modern day nursery for up to 70 children whilst retaining the outside of the historic building.

The couple are now looking forward to spending their first Christmas in their new home this year.

Donna has also started Saturday clubs for parents to have child care at weekends, so that they can go Christmas shopping without the children.
