TWO promising young Rotarians have been acknowledged for their leadership skills.

Elin Roberts, Blaenau Ffestiniog, and Amily Taylor, Dolgellau, were awarded Rotary Youth Leadership Award by Dolgellau Rotary Club at an awards ceremony in Arthog Outdoor Education Centre.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a leadership programme co-ordinated by Rotary Clubs around the globe.

Each year, thousands of young people participate in the programme.

Young people aged between 13 and 30 are sponsored by Rotary Clubs to attend the event run by the club’s district committee.

Participants are chosen for their leadership potential and are then taught valuable life skills at a series of seminars and workshops.
