A tea room in Tywyn closed its doors for the final time on Monday, 21 September.

Lesley Wyre from Pebbles Tea Room said the day “was emotional and busy”, adding: “Everyone was amazing. It was a sad day but it was time.”

A Facebook post announcing the closure after 10 years thanked “every customer who has walked through our doors, enjoyed a coffee, a cake, lunch in the garden or simply stopped by for a chat”.

“Some of you started as customers and have become really good friends, and your support over the years has meant more to us than we can ever put into words.

“And to our amazing staff, past and present — thank you. Pebbles simply wouldn’t have been what it was without you.”
