An exhibition by a Ceredigion farmer has opened at Theatr Mwldan in Cardigan.

Alaw Haf James’ Porthmon opened on Friday, 12 August. It runs until Thursday, 25 August.

Alaw said: “Living on a farm all my life, I’ve grown up amongst nature, livestock and the buzz of machinery.

“Being able to photograph the land and share the little moments I get to see every day is something I love doing.

“I’m a farmer, photographer and artist from Ceredigion and my background in agriculture has always had a big influence on me, which can be seen throughout a lot of my work.

“Porthmon is a series made up of black and white photographs, drawings and documents looking back at the history of the drovers of Wales and the evolution of their profession into what it is today.”

Alaw recently graduated from Carmarthen School of Art with first class honours.

This exhibition is part of a series of pop-up exhibitions at Oriel Mwldan.
