TWO PEN Llyn women are gearing up for the adventure of a lifetime to raise money in memory of a man who lost his battle with cancer last year.
Louise Fletcher-Brewer and Ann Charles will head to Vietnam next month and take on a 450km cycle ride to raise money for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.
Louise’s youngest son, Eddie Fletcher-Brewer, passed away last year aged 24 after a five-year battle with leukaemia, but she wanted to thank the cancer trust for the support they gave Eddie.
Louise said: “Eddie was still well enough in 2015 to go on a trip to sail in Largs in Scotland with the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.
“He loved it and it gave him such a boost. We want to give as many other young people as possible the opportunity given to Eddie to forget his problems for a while, and to relax amongst others who have gone through cancer treatments.”
Louise and Ann would be very grateful for any donations to the cause. To donate, visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/louise-fletcher-brewer1
