Pictured is seven-year-old Mason Hughes whose family started the Penparcau pebble snake to bring some hope and fun to local children during the lockdown.

Mason was missing his school friends and routine of school, so his sister painted the snake’s head pebble and placed it in the park for others to see and enjoy.

The family then made the next seven painted pebbles and the stone art installation took off.

They have also created a fairy garden in Penparcau.
