Fairies and monsters, plenty of laughs and even a lightsaber or two – Cardigan Theatre’s latest panto, Jack and the Beanstalk starts on Saturday, 21 December.
Get ready to laugh and cheer with our hero Jack on his journey to save his precious little cow from the clutches of the giant and his evil henchman Fleshcreep.
With the help of his sister Jill and his best friend Simple Simon, they must scale the beanstalk, outwit the giant and save the cow, all before Dame Dolly gets back from her holiday.
This version of this popular panto is peppered with pop hits from across the decades, bundles of audience participation and the traditional dose of hilarious slapstick.
Directed by Jonathon Preece, Jack and the Beanstalk features some Cardigan Theatre regulars such as Ruby Griffiths as Jack, Jake Hollingworth as Fleshcreep, Izzy Whithouse as Gertie the Goose and Kelly Lewis as Jill, as well as the talented voice works of Tom Loveday and director Jonathon.
Performances take place at Theatr Mwldan in Cardigan at 1.45pm from Saturday to Tuesday, 21 to 24 December and from Friday to Monday, 27 to 30 December; with a 7.30pm performance on Saturday, 28 December as well.
So, get ready to laugh, cheer and boo as Cardigan Theatre present their ‘giant’ pantomime this festive season.
