A production company arrived in Aberystwyth to film scenes for season three of The Crown.
The next season of the award-winning drama about the Royal family will star Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth, replacing Claire Foy who previously played the part. Tobias Menzies takes over the role of Prince Phillip from Matt Smith.
Series three focuses on the young Prince Charles when he was made Price of Wales in Caernarfon and came to Aberystwyth as a student to learn Welsh in 1969.
Locations in Aberystwyth included the Old College on the seafront, the Pantycelyn halls of residence on Penglais Hill and the former town library in Corporation Street.

The scenes involved actors and extras dressed in vintage costumes and classic vehicles from the ’60s.
Casting company Extra People recently appealed for background artists to take part in filming in Aberystwyth.
Filming has also taken place at Caernarfon Castle.
Aberystwyth was also the setting for the detective series, Hinterland/Y Gwyllt, starring Richard Harrington.
