An open day at Aberystwyth Fire Station has raised £400 for local charities.
In the summer, the station welcomed the local community through its doors for its annual open day.
Visitors were able to view the specialist appliances, chat with the firefighters and view demonstrations and training exercises.
The day was a huge success, raising a fantastic £400, with all proceeds given to the paediatric palliative care team at Bronglais Hospital.
The money will help and support the services that care for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses across Ceredigion.
