THE Pwllheli Foodbank got a very timely financial boost when they were presented with a £500 cheque by the Asda Foundation.

The money will be used to help with the cost of the Christmas party for the foodbank clients, volunteers and also for local elderly people.

The party will be held at St Peter’s Church at Pwllheli.
