A group of former pupils from Llithfaen school recently organised a reunion to catch up with former classmates.

The reunion was held in the school building, which is now Llithfaen Community Centre.

The first log of the school can be traced back to 1875, and even up to the 1930s the school had about 120 pupils.

The school was closed by the education authority in 1967, and was transformed to the community centre people will recognise today.
