What a wonderful inspiring story of a Tywyn man, Leslie Christoper Mason, being awarded a French Legion d'Honneur Medal.

And how unassuming this man is, saying he is not sure he deserves it. Well he certainly does. This man helped to liberate France and like many gave the best years of his life in doing this.

I tracked my father’s medals in the ‘70s. He was overjoyed receiving them. These men gave us the life we have today.
