A LLYN teenager died from a single gunshot wound to the head, a police investigation has found.

Peter, who has been described as “a lovely, caring lad” by one of his best friends, sustained a fatal gunshot wound in the late-night incident.

Four local men were arrested and have been bailed pending further inquiries.

The teenager, from Capel Uchaf, near Clynnog Fawr, and the four men were “friends” according to North Wales Police, who are investigating.

Peter’s family are being supported by specially trained officers.

Jade Cara Thomas, who spoke to Peter nearly every day, said she is devastated by the loss of one of her closest friends.

“Peter always had a smile on his face and never let anything get him down,” the 18-year-old told the Cambrian News.

“He was a very shy lad, but always had something to say to you and was a big part in everyone’s life. He’s going to be missed by everyone that knew him.

“He was the bestest friend anyone could ask for, and I just want to say how sorry I am for his family’s loss.”
