Having played an assortment of sports for nearly 80 years, I can testify that after every gym visit or cross-country run followed by a cold shower resulted in exhilaration, joy, elation, joie de vivre and I felt like a jumping bean. I enjoyed an elevated sense of well being.

The Lampeter Leisure Centre has always been well run and by super staff, so the old adage to mind, ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’.

I would much rather see the money, a million plus pounds, go to giving Ceredigion carers a rise of 17 per cent.
