AN outdoor viewing site at Glaslyn Wildlife near Porthmadog has reopened for the first time this year.
The centre has confirmed that some aspects of the visitor experience will be different due to coronavirus restrictions.
A spokesperson for the centre said: “Glaslyn Wildlife is pleased to share the exciting news that our outdoor viewing site at Pont Croesor opened on Monday 26 April. Of course, due to coronavirus, the visiting experience will be slightly different from previous years.
“Currently, under Welsh Government guidelines, only outdoor attractions are permitted to open.”
They continued: “Luckily, we now have an outdoor osprey viewing area featuring a 65” weatherproof outdoor screen.
“Bring your folding chairs (and umbrellas!) and enjoy watching Mrs G and Aran live on the nest at your leisure, against the magnificent backdrop of Snowdonia.
“Access to the visitor centre is currently restricted to gift shop and café takeaway purposes.
“For the time being it will only be open between 11am to 3pm daily.
“Full details of how our site will be run are available on our website - www.glaslynwildlife.co.uk.”
The spokesperson added: “We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Glaslyn, and we thank our generous followers for their incredible support throughout the past year.”
Mrs G and Aran have three eggs at the Glaslyn Osprey site.
