CLWB Golff Abersoch captain John Brynmor Hughes and lady captain Elin Vaughan Williams have presented a cheque to Bloodwise.

Bloodwise (previously known as Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research) is a UK based charity dedicated to funding research into all blood cancers including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma, as well as to offering information and support to blood cancer patients.

The money was raised in a Charity Golf Open AM competition which was held at the Clwb Golff Abersoch and arranged by these two hard working captains, a total of 136 competitors took part including members and visitors.

An auction of promises was held in the evening and a total of £6,530 was raised and split equally between Bloodwise and The Wales Air Ambulance.
