A WEST END cast has enjoyed an electrifying experience in Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Last week, the whole cast of ‘Grease: The Musical’ flew down the zip wires above the Llechwedd Slate Caverns at the suggestion of one of the show’s local actors.

Callum Evans, a former Ysgol y Moelwyn pupil, is currently touring the UK with show performing as goofy nerd, Eugene in the stageshow based on the iconic 70s film.

Following a recent visit to North Wales to play in Llandudno, 21-year-old Callum was able to entice his co-stars to enjoy an exhilarating ride at Zip World Titan.

He was joined by a host of stars including Tom Parker, from top UK boy band The Wanted, and Louisa Lytton, former Eastender’s actress.

Rising star Callum told the Cambrian News: “[It was] one of the best things I’ve ever done ever, living the dream!
