HISTORY fans are encouraged to go and explore their local heritage in Dolgellau.

Archives across Wales will be celebrating and showcasing the best of archives and archive services during November, and Gwynedd Archives will be no exception.

The archives at Dolgellau will be holding taster courses to showcase what they have to offer.

The taster course will be held on Wednesday, 22 November in Dolgellau.

It will offer a short introduction to the services offered, aimed at those that have not used an archive before. A Welsh medium course will take place from 10am-12pm, whilst an English medium course will take place from 2pm until 4pm.
