Grŵp Llandrillo Menai has achieved the highest Overall Satisfaction in Wales score for the third year running.
The group achieved 93 per cent in the National Student Survey of Higher Education Institutes from students studying across Gwynedd, Conwy and Anglesey campuses, a 1 per cent increase above the national benchmark and a five percentage point year-on-year rise.
Key strengths highlighted by students include quality of teaching, academic support, strong student voice across the group, and organisation and management of its Higher Education courses.
Under ‘Teaching on my course’, the group scored above the national average, with 98 per cent of participants saying teaching staff made their subjects engaging. All the survey respondents valued the academic support available. The group’s strong ‘student voice’ shows in a score 8 per cent above the UK average, with 93 per cent of students stating their opinions were valued.
The question ‘How organised is your course?’ saw a 9 per cent rise above the UK average in positive responses.
