Following the wet winter weather, a section of the Wales Coastal Path in the Tregraig area near Llangwnadl had to be closed without notice after it was damaged by a sinkhole.
Gwynedd Council say the path has now been repaired and reopened.
Rhys Roberts, Wales Coastal Path Officer, said: "We would like to thank the landowner for their full cooperation with this work, which has enabled this popular route to once again be available for public use.
"We experienced one of the worst winters last year, with several sections having to be closed following numerous erosion incidents. Most have now reopened, and we are confident that the remainder will reopen over the coming months."
