A life-saving defibrillator and cabinet have been presented to Gwynedd’s Black Rock Sands Touring and camping, purchased from the proceeds from this year’s Rideout 26 Charity Jetski weekend.
The defibrillator will be accessible 365 days a year for the Black Rock Sands area and community.
Mark Hewitt and Jaime and Ian Wainwright-Jones had the pleasure of officially presenting Emma Walters from Black Rock Sands Touring & Camping Park with a brand-new lifesaving defibrillator, complete with a heated, lockable outdoor cabinet.
This isn't just for the campsite, but for the whole surrounding Black Rock Sands area, providing access to potentially lifesaving equipment 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
“It's moments like these that remind us why we put so much time and effort into organising our Rideout events,” a spokesperson from Colwyn PWC Riders – Home of the Rideout Safe on the water, said.
“Rideout isn't just about getting 100 jet skis together for a fantastic weekend. It's about bringing people together, supporting local communities, raising money for worthwhile causes and showing our sport in the positive light it deserves!
“A massive thank you to every rider, sponsor, business, volunteer and supporter who has been part of our Rideout journey. Without you, none of this would be possible. “Together, we're proving that the jetski community can make a real difference, both on and off the water!
