A PENRHYNCOCH mother and son couldn’t believe their luck yesterday (Thursday) when they were “photobombed” by a horse.
Hannah Evans, her son Cai and her sister Cari were visiting a relative in Clarach when a horse in a nearby field walked over to them.
Photobombing — when a person or animal ‘spoils’ a photograph by unexpectedly appearing in the shot — has been a hot topic of late after a Prestatyn family won a £2,000 holiday with Thompson after they were photobombed by a horse, only for the horse’s owner to take exception and claim a right to half of the money.
“I had seen it on the news so I thought it was brilliant when the horse did it on cue,” said Hannah.
“I had parked up to go see Mamgu and Cari noticed the horse and ran over.
“We started taking pictures of him as it looked lovely from afar.
“When I got closer it started doing that with its mouth,” added Hannah.
