CEREDIGION has again recorded no new cases of coronavirus today.

Elsewhere, Gwynedd has today recorded 13 new cases while Powys has recorded six.

Carmarthenshire has recorded 10 new cases, while six have been identified in Pembrokeshire.

Across Wales, 225 new cases have been confirmed and six new suspected Covid-19 deaths have also been reported.

The total number of cases in Wales since the pandemic began a year ago is now 205,593, with 5,412 deaths.

Three new deaths were recorded in the Hywel Dda area which covers Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, with the total standing at 466 throughout the pandemic.

Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board in North Wales has recorded 903 deaths in total while Powys has recorded 60.

Figures released by the Office of National Statistics that record every death certificate that mentions Covid-19 state that a total of 682 people have died in Hywel Dda with 1,280 fatalities being recorded in the Betsi Cadwaladr region.

Powys has recorded 235 deaths.

Across Wales, 1,019,210 have received a first dose of Covid-19 vaccine and 206,394 the second.

In Hywel Dda the health board has administered 130,152 vaccinations up to 3 March – 12,869 over the last seven days.
