ON New Year’s Day, a group of walkers dressed as flamingoes took on a 22-mile sponsored walk from Talsarn to Bronglais Hospital, to raise money for the chemotherapy unit.

The walkers from the ‘Ar Dramp dros Driniaeth’ group set off at 6am and arrived at Bronglais at around 2.30pm.

Ten members started at Talsarn, with other members joining them at different stages along the route. So far they have raised £5,000 for the unit.
