The list includes a range of gifts costing from £1 to £50 that have been selected by staff to benefit patients, including arts and crafts materials, toys and games, jigsaws and books suitable for patients with dementia or mental health problems.

Guto Davies, the older adult mental health services manager, said: “This appeal is an amazing opportunity to highlight the role of the service we provide. The gifts purchased from the Give a Gift appeal will make a real difference to our patients. Most of our patients suffer from dementia, depression and anxiety and although there isn’t a cure for dementia, stimulation and engaging in creative activities such as games, jigsaws and books can make a huge difference. We are truly grateful for every gift that we receive.”
