Wales has recorded more than 300 new cases of Covid-19 today, with one new death from the virus.

Across the country, 336 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded today according to Public Health Wales’ latest figures.

One new death was recorded, bringing the death toll in Wales since the start of the pandemic remaining at 5,574.

13 of the cases recorded today have been in Gwynedd, with Ceredigion recording four new cases.

Pembrokeshire has recorded 10 cases today with Carmarthenshire recording six and Powys seeing two new cases.

Cases per 100,000 population for the last seven days stand at 33 in Ceredigion and 39.3 in Gwynedd as the Delta variant spreads across the country.
