OVER 40 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Ceredigion today, according to the latest figures.

Across Wales, 2,891 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded today with four new deaths.

In Ceredigion, 43 new cases have been recorded in the latest data published this afternoon by Public Health Wales.

Carmarthenshire has recorded 156 cases with Pembrokeshire recording 59.

117 new cases have been recorded in Powys today, with 100 in Gwynedd.

The four new deaths reported today, take the total number of Covid-19 fatalities in Wales to 5,774 since the start of the pandemic 18 months ago.

One of today’s deaths was recorded in the Hywel Dda region of Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
